Dams & Sires
All of our German Shepherds are bred to Standard, with straight backs. They have strong bloodlines, are DM free and have been OFA Certified for hips and elbows. Puppies are released with a health certificate and are AKC registered with limited registration.
Athena of Pinellas is a 5-year-old black and tan GSD. Her puppies thrive in active families. Athena loves attention, fetching ball, has excellent smell, and loves to please people. She's a very intelligent and active dog with an excellent ball drive. Athena completed an intense 3-week board and train program with Ray Khatibi who now owns K9department LLC. Athena excelled in all aspects of the training and passed with flying colors.
She is highly responsive, extremely loyal and ready to protect our family at a moment's notice. She has proven to be an excellent and caring mother.
Athena is OFA Certified for hips and elbows, and received an "A" grade for her DM test ensuring that her puppies will not be prone to Degenerative Myelopathy. She is 100% clear and healthy!

Zippo
Meet Zippo. Zippo is a solid black, top stud dog that was hired to cover Athena for her current litter. He was imported from The Czech Republic as a puppy and raised and trained by Petr Spurny, who is also a Master Trainer. Zippo descends from a line of world champions
and is nicely built, with very strong bone structure, broad chest, perfectly shaped square head with very dark piercing eyes!

Zippo has a flawless personality; absolutely conflict free, not dog or people aggressive, excellent ON/OFF switch and absolutely amazing drives (Food, Prey, Hunt, Fight, Defense), which he passes on through his genes.
Zippo is perfectly healthy and completely DM free with an "A" certification on his test. In addition, he was also tested and cleared through the OFA with an excellent report on his hips and elbows.
